ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) Digital Library

The subscription fees, for ACM Digital Library, paid by UWC Library, cover Article Processing Charges (APCs) in all their journals and conference proceedings. This is an unlimited read and publish (transformational) agreement.

BioMed Central is an STM (Science, Technology and Medicine) publisher of 265 peer-reviewed open access journals. It is part of Springer Nature.
BioOne Complete is a database of more than 200 titles in the biological, ecological, and environmental sciences. UWC does not subscribe to BioOne Complete anymore. However, the database contains some articles that are open access (freely accessible) and these are marked as such.
Business Source COMPLETE covers all aspects of business; marketing, management, economics, finance, accounting, international business and more.
Cambridge University Press (CUP) currently publishes over 400 peer-reviewed scholarly journals of which 330 are hybrid journals and 40 are gold open access journals. UWC has access to CUP's full collection, and UWC authors can also publish in most hybrid and gold open access Cambridge University Press journals without paying article processing charges (APCs). EbscoHost Web allows you to access more than two dozen different databases covering a vast multitude of subjects. Global Economic Monitor (GEM) Providing daily updates of global economic developments, with coverage of high income- as well as developing countries. MasterFILE Premier (EbscoHost) is a multidisciplinary, Ebscohost database provides full text for more than 2,000 general reference publications with full text information dating as far back as 1975. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Premier also includes 268 full text reference books, nearly 100,000 biographies, 76,000 primary source documents, and an image collection of 116,000 photos, maps and flags. This database is updated daily via EBSCOhost.
MathSciNet produced by the American Mathematical Society, is a comprehensive database covering the world's mathematical literature since 1940. It provides Web access to the bibliographic data and reviews of mathematical research literature contained in the Mathematical Reviews Database. It also provides hyperlinks to full-text articles in the Science Direct database.

MEDLINE (EbscoHost) is the National Library of Medicine’s database of indexed journal citations and abstracts. It covers the fields of biomedicine and health. This includes medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, behavioural sciences, chemical sciences, public health and much more.
MEDLINE (Pubmed) this is a service of the National Library of Medicine. It provides access to over 12 million MEDLINE citations back to the mid-1960’s and provides access to additional full-text life science journals. It also contains citations that precede the date that a journal was selected for MEDLINE indexing.
"My LexisNexis" offers full text, South African, legal and commercial information for students and lecturers. Users can access major law reference works, indexes, law reports, individual acts, statutes, practitioners manuals and textbooks. Sage Research Methods Online (SRMO)
Sage Research Methods Online (SRMO) is a research methods tool created to help researchers, faculty and students with their research projects. SRMO links over 100,000 pages of SAGE’s renowned book, journal and reference content with truly advanced search and discovery tools. Researchers can explore methods concepts to help them design research projects, understand particular methods or identify a new method, conduct their research, and write up their findings. Since SRMO focuses on methodology rather than disciplines, it can be used across the social sciences, health sciences, and more.
SAGEOLIT (Sabinet)
The South African Geological Literature (SAGEOLIT) database contains bibliographic information on geoscientific publications, selected journal articles, unpublished reports and maps, mainly from holdings of the Library of the CGS and its Information Centre. Emphasis is placed on Africa, especially southern Africa, although records cover all aspects of geoscience, worldwide. A unique feature of SAGEOLIT is the Map Database. SAGEOLIT focusses on Southern- and Sub-Saharan Africa, with special emphasis on the SADC countries, but also carries information on geoscientific literature on all parts of the world.
